The five│My favorite spring lipcolors!

Posted on Posted in Beauty
Hello everyone!

Welcome back to another edition of my “The Five” series. Sun is finally shining in Belgium, so I am thrilled to finally wear my spring clothes. Of course, some new lipcolors can’t be forgotten! If you want to know what spring lipcolors are my favorite for 2016, continue reading!

#1: Coral clash

This lipstick is called Coral Bliss by MAC. As the name says, it is a coral color. It is a soft and glossy lipstick, with a cremesheen finish. I think this is a perfect color to pop on when you are on the go and you want to tint your lips a bit. The lasting power isn’t great, but I don’t mind really. It looks more like a lip balm with a great pigmentation. It is soft and springlike. I would wear this lipstick with peachy colored outfits, which happens to be a trending color in spring 2016! It would fit perfectly on a nice spring day.

Bad phonequality I know. Hope you don't mind!

#2: Pink tulips

This one is my favorite to wear in spring. It is a medium pink color. It reminds me of tulips for some weird reason. It gives me an instant happy feeling when I put this on. The color goes on very smooth. It is  called Flamingo by BE Yourself. Definitely worth a try.

#3: Glossy peony

This one is actually a lipgloss. It is a NYX Buttergloss in Maple Blondie. When you put one layer on, it is a subtle tint gloss. It gives some extra umpf to your look. If you want some more color, you can put on several layers which makes the colors more opaque. The color reminds me of a peony. I love how colors match the spring flowers!

#4: Pastel nude

This color is perfect if you are wearing pastel colors in your outfit and you want your make-up to stay soft. It is a kind of Kylie Jenner nude by Kiko. I love it for when my eye make-up needs to stand out or when my outfit has to. With a complete soft look, this looks even more better. Topped off with a gloss, it looks great! One layer of the Maple Blondie gloss by Nyx would fit this lipstick perfectly.

#5: Sunny orange

The last one is a sunny one. It is a dark orange by Revlon. I like it because it isn’t a bold red, but isn’t a bright orange as well. It is somewhere in between. On a spring evening, it would look great. It is a matte color, but it doesn’t dry out your lips, which is a plus!

That was it for today everyone! I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know in the comments what your favorite color is and if you are already feeling these springvibes! I most definitely do.

See you next time!

xoxo, Tessa
