Long time no see, but I have been very busy at school last week. But, I am back with a new post! Since fall has arrived I felt inspired to create a red-toned eyeshadow look, featuring the Smashbox Cover shot eyepalette in the shade Ablaze. Here I share with you all of the details and the products that I’ve used.
I felt inspired by the hues of the fallen leaves, pumpkin spice and everything nice. It makes me think of a sunset as well. I combined it with a metallic, deep red lip.
I am wearing a Liquid Suede Metallic Matte by NYX in the shade Bella.
For my eyes, I mainly used the Smashbox Covershot Eye palette in the shades Ablaze. I started with Nirvana (the burgundy color) and applied it quite heavy in the crease of my eyes. I am blending this color, applying more, blending, more applying, blending… To intensify the crease and outer v a little bit more, I am applying the color Throwback (medium brown). I am focusing this mainly in the outer v. To blend these two colors together I am using the beige shade Relaxed on my browbone as a soft highlight as well as to blend some of the harsh lines the two other shades had left behind.
On my lid, I started out with the shimmery rose tone called Siesta. I noticed this shade didn’t give me the pigmentation I desired, so I reached for my Tarte Tartelette In Bloom palette to pick up some of the shimmershade Firecracker and applied it right over Siesta. To clean up the edges I used Relaxed again in my inner corner.
I lined my eyes with a brown liner by Kik. I am not a pro in winged eyeliner, but I am practicing my way to perfection! I used the Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara on my lashes.
I used the second shade in my NYX Contouring palette to sculpt out my cheeks a little bit more. I went with my Moonchild Glowkit by Anastasia Beverly Hills to give my skin this reddish glow. The color I used is called Pink Heart.
This is the finished look! What is your favorite fall makeup look? Let me know in the comments!
See you next time!
