Palette Party // My first Makeup Geek eyeshadows

Posted on Posted in Beauty
Hello everyone!

I have a palette with 9 Makeup Geek shadows. I have it for a couple of months now, so the time is right for a review!

The colors I chose. From left to right: Peach Smoothie – Tuscan Sun – Cocoa Bear – Desert Sands – Mai Tai – Americano – Prom Night – Karma – Secret Garden.

I tried to get some of the famous shades like Cocoa Bear and Peach Smoothie, because I heard a lot of good stuff about it. In the others, I tried to be as versatile as possible. Some of them are duochrome.

The quality of the products is outstanding. The shades are extremely pigmented. They feel so soft and buttery. They blend amazing and the color pay off is fantastic. I can’t say a wrong word about them. Especially the blending matte shades have an extraordinary blending power. Peach Smoothie quickly became my favorite all time blending shade. The duochromes are amazing as well. Applied wet, they have the greatest color pay off. Even Prom Night, which isn’t duochrome, is so pigmented. I think I just ran out of superlatives to use in this blogpost.

I also want to mention that you have to dip your brush only once in the pan because it picks up very fast, a lot of product. A little bit goes a long way with these ones. I can proudly say that I have found my new favorite eyeshadow brand. Time for the swatches!

I rate this product 9,5/10.

That was it for today everyone! Have you tried Makeup Geek before?

xoxo, Tessa
