Hello everyone!

Today I am back with another “The Five” post. Since it’s getting colder here in Belgium I decided to make a post on some of my essentials I really love in the wintertime. Let’s take a look!

Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in “Chunky Cherry”

The first thing I am going to talk about is this really soft and smoothing lip pencil by Clinique. I got mine in the colour Chunky Cherry. It is a moisturizing balm which can come in handy when our lips are drying out during a cold winterday.

The fact that this one has a soft red colour makes me love it even more! The soft effect keeps your lips hydrated everyday and the colour lasts very long as well.

It is very practical to keep in your handbag if you want to re-apply it during the day. You can just slip on the product and you’re good to go!

Syoss beauty elixir Hair oil

Wintertime is all about protecting your skin for drying out. Sometimes people forget it, but your hair can also lose it’s shine. I noticed my hair was becoming dull so I decided to buy me some good hair oil. The one I got is the beauty elixir oil by Syoss. I like Syoss for my haircare. I have some shampoo and conditioner from it as well.

I really like this one because it moisturizes my hair very deeply without leaving it greasy. That is a very important factor for me because I’ve tried out other oils but they left a greasy feel on my hair and I cannot stand that!

This one has a good smell as well. It comes with a pump and you only need one pump, even when your hair is as long as mine! I apply it when my hair is still a bit damp. It leaves my hair very shiny and healthy looking. Hooray for healthy winter hair!

Catrice nailpolish in “Vino Tinto”

The nail polish I tend to reach for in the winter months is this dark plum colour by Catrice. I really like it. It matches a lot of my clothes as well. It is a very opaque polish. I always apply two coats, but you don’t really have to to cover your nails. I think it gives my nails a classy and polished look.

MAC eyeshadow in “Cranberry”

To stay in the plum trend, this eyeshadow by MAC. The name of the shades explained perfectly what the colour is like. It is a plum cranberry shade you can wear all throughout winter. The shadow has a high pigmentation. I really recommend it!

Coffee or hot chocolate

And last but not least, coffee! This isn’t a beauty-related item as you know but it is thé essential in the winter months for me. I change it up with a hot chocolate every once in a while. I could literally drink this all day long. A latte macchiato is my favourite.

If I want a hot chocolate, I try to experiment with the ingredients. Sometimes I like to pour some caramel sauce and some salt in it for a sweet-salt touch. Other times, I put chocolate in some milk and let it melt in the microwave. I top it off with some whipped cream and some chocolate powder on top of it.

My guilty pleasure!
