Hello everyone!

Today’s post is all about my contouring routine. Since summer is still in town, I decided to write a post about my routine. I don’t always do all of these steps, but sometimes when I want to go all out, this is what I do!

The products

First, apply your foundation and concealer just like normal. Afterwards, we are going in with liquid bronzer and highlighter. To top it off, we will use some powderproducts.

Before

Liquid products

I am using this whipped mousse bronzer by Bourjois with an angled contour brush. I am using this on my temples, forehead and cheek area for a soft bronzed look. I often use this product on its own. After that, I use that Bodyshop highlighter on my cheekbones, nose, cupids bow and forehead.

Powder products

I recently got this contour and highlight palette by NYX. I really like it. It has some universal shades useable for a lot of skin tones. I used the darkest color to contour my cheekbones and the lightest shade just next to it, to blend everything out. I also used that shade onto the other bronzing parts of the face I use the banana shade to highlight my under eye area. I used both highlight shades on the outer corners of the palette to highlight my cheekbones.

  1. I’ve been very curious about that Bourjois bronzer! It’s also sold out here but I heard it’s a good alternative to the Chanel. I have that same NYX palette. I haven’t played with it much but it has every colour you’d ever need!
You did a great job, it’s not harsh and obvious like I see often on girls.

    1. Thank you so much for your compliments! It means a lot to me 🙂 it is indeed a good alternative. I really like it so if you get your hands on it, you should try it! 🙂
