Smokey gold // New Years Eve eye makeup look

Posted on Posted in Beauty

Hello everyone!

Today is New Years Eve! I am so happy to take a break from studying and party all night long! I created a last minute eye makeup look that is festive, smokey and glittery, perfect for New Years Eve. Let’s go!

What do you need for this look? A taupe blending color, a jeans blue color, a plain black and a gold color.

Don’t forget your golden eyeliner!

Using a big blending brush, apply a taupe transition shade in the crease and blend it out very well.

I am applying the color “Slate” (the dark jeans blue color) with a dense fluffy brush in the outer corner and outer third of the lid.

With a pencil brush, I am putting the black in my outer V. I am putting it up in the crease as well. This might look scary, but we’ll blend it out later.

I blended out the black using the taupe shade we put in the crease earlier.

Time to put on the gold! With some Fix+ by Mac, I spritz my brush to get it damp. I dip it in the gold color and pat the color on the lid. Not rubbing!

To finish off, apply a thin line of golden liner and apply mascara to your liking.

The finished look!
