Today’s post will be all about the Naked Illuminated trio Urban Decay came up with a few months ago. Do you want to know my thoughts? Let’s go!
The palette comes in a hard cardboard case with a special design on it. It feels very secure so the products will be very safe in them when you travel. The palette features three round-shaped shades. There is a bronze, blushy and white highlighter in there. It also comes with a dual-sided brush.
These are the three versatile colors. Pyrite is the bronze color. I think this one is a bit unusual for highlighting because it creates a brownish spot on your cheekbone, which is not what we are going for. I tried the color for some bronzing and contouring and I must say I LOVE it for that. It gives a subtle glowy bronze to the hollows of your cheeks, which is amazing. From now on, I will use this color for bronzing. The brush it came with is great for that.
The middle color is called Oasis and has a beautiful marble through the color. It looks beautiful in the pan. I was quite disappointed when I tried it on my face. There is absolutely no color coming from the pan. It only gives some thick shimmers on your cheekbones which makes you glitter way too much. I do not like this color at all.
The last color is called Twilight. It is a really nice pink glowy color. I really love it on the cheeks as a blush. I wouldn’t use it as a highlighter because it is a bit to pink. I do like it as a glowing blush, so I will be wearing this one very often in the springtime.
