Let your glow out // Urban Decay Naked Illuminated trio

Posted on Posted in Beauty
Hello everyone!

Today’s post will be all about the Naked Illuminated trio Urban Decay came up with a few months ago. Do you want to know my thoughts? Let’s go!

The palette comes in a hard cardboard case with a special design on it. It feels very secure so the products will be very safe in them when you travel. The palette features three round-shaped shades. There is a bronze, blushy and white highlighter in there. It also comes with a dual-sided brush.

These are the three versatile colors. Pyrite is the bronze color. I think this one is a bit unusual for highlighting because it creates a brownish spot on your cheekbone, which is not what we are going for. I tried the color for some bronzing and contouring and I must say I LOVE it for that. It gives a subtle glowy bronze to the hollows of your cheeks, which is amazing. From now on, I will use this color for bronzing. The brush it came with is great for that.

The middle color is called Oasis and has a beautiful marble through the color. It looks beautiful in the pan. I was quite disappointed when I tried it on my face. There is absolutely no color coming from the pan. It only gives some thick shimmers on your cheekbones which makes you glitter way too much. I do not like this color at all.

The last color is called Twilight. It is a really nice pink glowy color. I really love it on the cheeks as a blush. I wouldn’t use it as a highlighter because it is a bit to pink. I do like it as a glowing blush, so I will be wearing this one very often in the springtime.

As you can see, Oasis doesn’t have any pigmentation. It only has some thick glitters. Pyrite is way more pigmented, which is my favorite. The pink is good as well.

Quick and short

+ Beautiful and secure packaging
+ Great for traveling
+ Handy brush
+ Colors look stunning
+ Bronzer and blush color do the job perfectly
+ Colors are very glowing

-Oasis is really disappointing
– Pigmentation isn’t very great
– Expensive

Oasis is just completely gone on my arm.
I rate this product a 6/10.

That was it for today everyone! Have you tried this palette before? What is your favorite highlighter? Let me know!
