Hello everyone!

I finally found it. After years and years of trying out, switching up and throwing away, I finally found the skincare routine that works the best for my skin. My skin never looked better than this, so I am very happy to find this products! Let’s read on to discover what I am talking about!

For my skincare, I use an 8 step routine twice a week, and the other days I go with the 6 step routine. You cannot use too many products on your skin because it isn’t good for it. I’ll let you know what I use only twice week in the following steps!

First off, I’ll let you know what type of skin I have. Well, you can call it very problematic.

I have some scars from acne I had when I was younger, sometimes I have pimples showing up everywhere, sometimes it gets greasy and sometimes it is dry as hell.

No wonder it took me so long to find a good routine!

The scrub I use. You can see the seaweed color! It is very good, don't get scared by the look, haha!

Using this products made my skin a lot less problematic. My pimples are reduced to a minimum. Of course I will have to deal with it sometimes but that’s just part of being me! My skin looks very soft, my scars are fading away and it is always hydrated well. It isn’t greasy anymore as well.

Step 1: removing eyemake-up

Removing your make-up is so important guys, I cannot stress this enough. And I know, everyone can be a lazy person (read:me) sometimes, but you have to do it! I went for years not cleaning my face good enough and I always had some pimples showing up. Since I use this routine, my amount of pimples is reduced to the minimum.

First things first, it is time to remove my eyemake-up. For that, I use the Clinique Take The Day off remover. This is a sample version, but I am so hooked on this stuff so I am definitely going to buy the full version! It is a greasy cleaner, but I love this for my eyemake-up because it takes off the minimum amount of mascara of my lashes. Sometimes I use it on my lips as well. It removes literally everything, which is a good thing! I use two cotton balls to take it off.

Step 2: removing facemake-up

The next step is removing face make-up. I use a soft cream cleanser by the Body Shop. I use the one from the Vitamin E range, because my skin can be a little dull sometimes, so this range soothes my skin. I put some product in my hand and then I put it on my face and by gently rubbing my face, the make-up comes off.

Step 3: Cleanse

Usually, I hop in the shower after removing my make-up to wash my hair and body. I guess this is the step that cleared up my skin the most. I do not use any wash cloth anymore in the shower, it contains a lot of bacteria, which explains the pimples. When I am done showering, I use this facebrush by Kruidvat Skinscience. I put a little amount of the Clinique Normader facewash on it and then I am brushing my face using the twenty seconds technique. I brush twenty seconds on every part of my face. I do this deep cleanse everyday because it isn't rough on the skin. It makes sure every make-up particle is gone and I don't get any pimples anymore from not removing make-up. I know that because when I don't do it for like a couple of days due to lack of time or laziness, let's be real here guys, I find that more pimples are coming up. This thing is my lifesaver!

Step 4: scrub

The scrubbing step is something I only do twice a week, preferable on wednesdays and saturdays. This scrub by the Body Shop contains algues to clear up your skin and remove any dead skincells. I love this scrub because it turns white when you scrub!

This scrub by the Body Shop contains seaweed to clear up your skin and remove any flakey or dead skincells. It unclogs your pores as well. This is true because I notice a lot less blackheads on my nose, which I had a lot of before. (Yes, I had the worst skin you can imagine, I had literally every skin problem) I love this scrub because it turns white when you scrub!

Step 5: face mask

This step is also twice a week. It is a hydration mask by the Body Shop. Yes, there products are amazing. I use almost everything and they do wonders! I love them even more because they are against animal cruelty and the products are all natural. I swear by this brand! I guess the all natural thing was a good thing for my skin because chemicals didn't do the job for me. I apply a generous amount of this mask on my face and let it sit for about 15 minutes and then rinse off.

Step 6: serum

This serum also by the Body Shop really moisturizes deeply. It also helps fade away my scars. I love it!

Time for the nightcream. I put this on immediately after my serum and I can feel that my skin is so moisturized. It feels amazing.

Step 8: Eye cream

This is the inside of the mask, I love the scent! Now for the last step, I use an eye cream. It helps reducing wrinkles and it reduces black circles under my eyes as well.

That was it for today everyone. This routine takes me about 20 minutes time a day. I hope you got some tips on how to take care for your skin or got some ideas for any products to try out. Let me know what your favorite skinproduct is in the comments, I would love to know!

See you next time!

    1. Je kan dat opzoeken op internet, het is met een html-code 🙂 als je je artikel in de html weergave zet voeg je de code in na het tekstje dat je als samenvatting wilt en da zou dat normaal gezien moeten werken 🙂

Haha 🙂
