Hello everyone!

Today I have for you a creative makeup post. A while ago I saw a new trend popping up in my newsfeed, the glitter liptrend! I thought it was very fascinating and if you adjust it here and there, very wearable! Since I am a very glitterloving person, I was very keen to try it. Let’s continue reading to know what I came up with.

Inspiration

Before I started to try out the trend, I decided to browse through Pinterest for some inspiration. I tried picking out the more wearable ones, because there were some reaaaal extreme ones as well! They look very pretty, you can call it art.

This purple one is also very pretty. I love how the glitter accentuates the color a bit more. It makes it stand out. Credit: Pinterest

This is the most natural one. A light lipcolor with a subtle golden sheen. God I love this trend! Credit: Pinterest

I loved this one because of the contrast with the gold. It is a dark lip, lightened up with a gold sheen. Credit: Trend 2 wear

What I came up with

So now time for my take on this trend!

#1: Golden sunset

I used an orange lipstick by Revlon and a golden eyeshadow by Make-Up Studio.

#3: Mystic Vampire

I used this vampy red color by L'Oreal and a light Vanilla color by MAC.

The glitter dabbed on. The color looks a bit lighter now, and gives a nice sheen to the lips. Still, it looks very mystic and vampy. Anyone who gets the reference of the name of this look is now called my best friend! Let me know in the comments....

That was it for today everyone! I am a huge fan of this trend. It looks so pretty! I am a sucker for everything that glows or glitters. Let me know in the comments what you think about it!

See you next time!

xoxo, Tessa
