Hello everyone!

I absolutely adore festivities and holidays. I want to be in theme for every holiday ever. Sad is that Halloween isn’t celebrated very much in Belgium. No one dresses up and the only thing you’ll find here is some shops decorated in theme. For festivities there are some haunted hikes around town, but that’s the only thing you’ll find here. October 31th is a day just like the others.

I think it’s a shame, because when I look at the US, I see all those fun activities and things to do around this fall time of the year. I really want to go apple picking, visit corn mazes and carve out pumpkins. And I didn’t even mention dress up parties or trick or treat. We only get pumpkin soup or pumpkin spice latte. Yeah.

I still want to be in style for the time of the year, so I came up with a subtle Halloween look, wearable when you don’t want to dress up or celebrate it. Well, that was one hell of an intro, but here we go!

The products

Of course, the classic orange eyeshadow couldn't stay away. I paired it with a blue, foamy-colored eyeliner. Both products are by NYX.

I started with an eyeshadow primer, and then I used a light brown shadow in the crease on a big fluffy brush, to warm up the crease. I sprayed my big shader brush with MAC Fix+ to increase the color pay-off of the pigment. I applied a couple of layers so the lid has a noticeable orange color. Afterwards, I lined my eyes with the foamy eyeliner.

I used a warm blush and bronzer on the cheeks. I went with the Urban Decay palette. To finish off, a brown lipstick by Kiko.

That was it for today everyone! I hope you like the look.

How do you celebrate Halloween?

See you next time!
