Halloween 2017 // Be festive this year

Posted on Posted in Beauty
Hello everyone!

Halloween is right around the corner so I decided to create a little festive look. I went to a Halloween event last week so that was the perfect opportunity for me to wear this look. I decided to keep it very traditional. I integrated the typical Halloween colors and a little spider. Want to know the details about the look? Click continue reading!

I just did my foundation and eyebrows like normal. I kept my face quite natural so the eyes could stand out a little more.

I used a heavy duty primer on the eyelids to make the shadows stick last well during the night.

The shadows

I used my Lorac Pro palette to create the look. I started with a mauve color in the crease. I diffused this lightly with a soft blending brush to make the blending of the black a little bit easier.

Next up is the black shade. I applied it all over my lid with a flat shader brush. I applied a few layers to make sure the color is very opaque. I softened the edges with my big fluffy brush.

To make the look a little bit more “Halloween-y,” I went with this orange shade by NYX. I also applied a few layers in the middle of my lid to make it stand out.

The spider

I used my gel liner by Maybelline to create a winged liner.  I lined my waterline with NYX’s Jumbo Pencil in Milk and applied two layers of mascara.

I used the same gel liner to create the spider. This was a little bit of trial and error. Try to be as specific as possible. Mine isn’t perfect as well, but I am still learning how to do these looks. I think it still looks okay though.

I went with a dark red lipstick by L’Oréal to make the look complete. I used a metallic lip topper by NYX to make it even more festive.

The finished look

What will you be doing on Halloween?

See you next time!

xoxo, Tessa
