I am completely in the Christmas spirit you guys! Today I created a very festive, golden cranberry look, perfect for Christmas eve! Put on some christmas music, or your favorite christmas movie, and let’s go!
Start with a big fluffy brush and a pink, rosy color. This will be our transition color.
Apply the rosy color to your crease using circular motions. You can be very generous with this color. Blend it out nicely.
Pick up a cranberry, shimmery color on a dense but still kind of fluffy brush. This is cranberry by MAC.
Apply this color all over the lid. This might look scary, but trust me, it will look good in the end!
In the outer V, we are going to apply Deep Purple by the Lorac Pro Palette. On a pointed brush, apply this in your outer v.
Now that we have created a very sharp v and very intense colors, it is time to blend. Use the same rose color that we used before on a blending brush to blend everything together very nicely.
Now that everything is blended together, it is time for the star of the show, the golden liner! Apply this on your lash line.
This color is a peachy highlight from the highlighter trio by Urban Decay, but I think it is perfect to apply right over the cranberry shade, in the inner corner. The pigmentation is for a highlighter, so it gives a nice sheen to your lid without taking away the cranberry color. It brightens up the whole area.
To finish, the eyes, I went with 2 layers of mascara, and a bright white highlight on the browbone, to tie everything together.
For the cheeks, I used a plum color on this dense brush by Morphe.
One of my most loved highlighters, the Mary-Loumanizer by The Balm.
Finish the makeup look with a dark purple, plummy look, so it ties in with the cranberry. I used Urban Decay lipstick in ZZ and on top of that, Gerard Cosmetics liquid lipstick in Ecstasy. The finished look
That was it for today everyone! Have you decided yet what makeup look you want to wear on Christmas eve? Let me know in the comments!
