Fast and formal│10 minute going out make-up look

Posted on Posted in Beauty
Unknown-1Hello everyone!

Today is a post I took the pictures for while I was in Tenerife, because that’s where the inspiration for this post came from. My mom is a very impatient person, so in the evening she didn’t give me much time to get ready to go to the restaurant. Since it was very formal, I had to come up with a fast make-up look that still looks very sophisticated. Let’s read this to see what I came up with!

I applied some foundation and powder, did my brows and eyeprimer and then I went on to my eyes, cheeks and lips. When I counted the time I needed for this make-up, I came to ten minutes. That is actually a pretty good time for a formal make-up look. 1,2,3 let’s go!

Start off with your usual foundationroutine and eyebrowroutine. (Excuse the wet hair).

The only thing I did was taking a darkbrown eyeshadow with little glinstenings in them. (Can't call them glitters because they aren't.) I chose Liar from the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I used a fluffy but dense brush to put it all over the lid. I am putting several layers on top to get an even color. Next thing to do is taking a highlighter colour. You can just take your favorit one! I am using shimmer strips by Physisians Formula. i am putting this on the inner third of the lid and tearduct to lighten up the look.

Finish off the eyes with two generous coats of mascara. If needed, use a fluffy brush to blend out the harsh edges from the darker shade. For cheeks, I used The Balm Bahama Mama blush that acts as a blush and highlighter in one! That way you only need one product. On my lips I am going with 3 layers of Urban Decay's Failbait lipgloss. There is some colour and gloss on my lips that way! And there you go!

I love the fact that the darker shadow acts as kind of an eyeliner so you don’t need to spill time on fancy eyeliner pens!

That was it for today everyone! I hope you guys liked it and got some inspiration from it for when you need to get ready fast. Let me know what you think in the comments down below about this make-uplook and I’ll see you next time!
