Hello everyone!

Today’s post is something I am very excited for you guys to show. It is a fall makeup look featuring the Urban Decay duochrome eyeshadow in Solstice. It is a shimmery purple shadow with greenish glitters in them. Want to see how I created the look? Let’s go!

The products

I use this image on top because it explains better what shades I used. I went with the pinkish shade on top and the two shades under them. I also used the darker shade on the left.

The most fall lipstick I could find in my collection: Kiko's darkbrown lipstick.

Step 1: defining the crease

I used the pink shade from Tarte to do that. I worked very precisely and added a few layers of this color.

Step 2: Darkening the outer V

I did this using the two darker colors on a dense, yet still fluffy brush.

Step 3: Glitter on the lid

It was very hard to photograph this from up close (which explains my awkward face in the camera) because the shimmer in this shadow didn't want to focus. It is a duochrome shadow, so it really gives a special vibe to the look.

Step 5: Darkening the outer corner

To add a bit of depth, I used the darkest shade I showed to darken the outer corner.

Step 6: Highlighter on the browbone and innercorner

I highlighted using a matte white shade on the browbone going inwards, and in the inner corner itself I went with a slight shimmer.

Step 7: Purple liner and mascara

I went with a regular purple eyeliner and a few coats of my favorite mascara. I used a mauve Nyx Ombre Blush on the cheeks and some golden MUA Undressed highlighter as well. I also applied the dark brown Kiko lipstick.

Finished look

I am in love with this look! It is bold and colorful, yet it still has a fall vibe to it. Fall doesn't always have to be warm brown and golden shimmers.

That was it for today everyone! I hope you enjoyed reading and be sure to try out this look and let me know your thoughts.

See you next time!
