Easter make-up look | colorful pastels 🇧🇪 ⚫️💛❤️

Posted on Posted in Beauty
UnknownHello everyone!

As I said in my previous post, I will have some more Easterposts coming up. I do feel sad today and I am not writing with the same enthusiasm as I do other times.

Yesterday was a horrible day in Belgian history. Brussels was attacked twice by terrorists. Once in the airport and once in the metrostation. 34 victims is the balance. The whole country is sad and shocked. We had to stay inside the whole day. I am shocked as well.

I couldn’t stay in my student house, I travelled back home for one night so I could talk with my parents about it. It has such a high impact on our lives. I do want to write today, because we have to stay strong and keep on living our lives. I haven’t seen so much solidarity. It is heartwarming in black days like this. Let’s not only pray for Belgium, but let’s pray for the world.

Although all my sympathy is with the families that have victims, I still want to write a quite happy post, because we cannot let those terrorists win. We must not fear.

This is the palette I used. It is by the brand BYS. I actually lend it from my mom. I used the vanilla, the two purples and the two browns.

To start of, I packed on the whitish vanilla color. I used a lot of layers to get an even colorbase all over the lid. I used a flat shader brush.

Next up, the browns. I used a blending brush and I made mixture of the two brown colors. I put them in the crease and outer corner. I am blending it out so that there are no harsh edges.

Next up are the purples. I used a flat shader brush to mix the two purples and I am using them on the outer third of the lid, blending it into the browns. I used a few layers to let the color stand out.

Next is the purple liner. I went with a dark purple line. It is a small line that I smoked out. After that, I used two layers of black mascara.

Onto the cheeks. I went with Bahama mama by The Balm. It is a pinkish coral that has a golden sheen. I think it fits the easter theme. After that, I used a cooltoned highlighter by the Body shop. It is a liquid.

For my lips, I used a BE make-up flamingo color and the NYX buttergloss in Maple Blondie.
