Born To Run eyeshadow palette by Urban Decay: review + swatches

Posted on Posted in Beauty
Hello everyone!

Today’s post is all about a brand new eyeshadow palette by Urban Decay. It is called Born To Run, especially made for people that travel and wander a lot. Let’s take a look at thing new baby in makeup land!

This is what the packaging looks like. This is right up my alley, I love the different photos of destinations on the palette. It is so pretty and perfect for people that love traveling.

This is what the inside looks like. There are 21 different shades in the palette. There is something for everybody. The color range is very big. There are warm tones, cool tones, shimmers and mattes. It is indeed great for traveling, because of the big color selection. You can create very different looks with it: bold statement looks and light travel looks. I really like every color in here. It is perfect to play around with and come up with very different looks.

Here is an overview of all the swatches. All the colors have an excellent pigmentation. There’s very little fallout in my opinion. I am really impressed by the quality of the eyeshadow colors. So let’s take a look at all the shades!

A light beige color with a satin finish. Perfect to set your eyeshadow primer or as an inner corner and browbone highlighter.

A true golden shade. Amazing for your party look!

This is a more pinky-toned shimmer shade, but it also leans toward the golden side. It is a very unique color.

A pale, matte light brown color, ideal for blending.

Still shot

A soft coral shade. This gives me very summery vibes!

Good as gone

A matte dark brown shade.

Hell ride

A hot pink shade, normally I find it quite hard to work with these colors but this one looks very pretty in the outer corner.

A bright orange shade. I really love to work with this one in the crease.

A brick red, shimmery shade.

Guilt trip

A dark purple with shimmers in it, a perfect party color!

A bronzey, burnt orange color with shimmers.

A well-known shade in the headquarters of Urban Decay, but it’s actually the first time I own it. I think it is a very unique color that can create a pretty shade on the lid combined with another one.

A moss green color with shimmers.

Wild heart

A bright, satin pink color.

A matte medium brown shade, perfect in the outer corner and for blending out some shades.

A matte black shade.

A gunmetal shimmery shade.

A dark blue, jeans type of color with shimmers.

Big sky

My personal favorite! A teal shimmery shade.

That was it for today everyone! What do you think of this palette? Stay tuned for some looks coming up with this little beauty!

See you next time!
