Athens inspired makeup looks

Hello everyone!

Today’s post is all about my trip to Athens, or more specific, the makeup I wore over there. At daytime I didn’t wear a splash of makeup because it was so hot and I didn’t bother wearing it at the beach or out exploring. At night on the other hand, I really loved going all out.

Look #1: Gold and blue eyeliner

I used a golden eyeshadow. Mine happened to be the gold shade in the Lorac Pro palette. I used an eyeshadow primer and applied the eyeshadow with a big flat shader brush. I used the brush wet to get a more opaque pigmentation. I used the MAC Fix + to get my brush wet. I used several layers of this gold. In the crease I applied a taupe color on a big fluffy brush to blend out the harsh edges. I used a kingsblue eyeliner by NYX to line my upper lash line. Mascara to finish off the eyes. On the lips, I went with a dark nude. The face is kept very neutral bronze.

Look #2: Fourth of July vibes

I went a little more out with this look. I used a jumbo eyepencil by NYX as an eyeshadow. I used a white shimmery shade on top of it for a more natural feel. I lined my eyes with the same kingsblue liner from above. On the lips, I used NYX Morroco soft matte lip cream. I highlighted my face with The Balm Mary-lou manizer.

Look #3: Tropical touch

A bit more of a special look. I used an orange pigment eyeshadow by NYX to accentuate my eyes. I used a lightbrown in the crease to blend out the edges. I used a seafoam color eyeliner. I went with a highlighting blush by the Balm. It is called Hot Mama. On my lips I went with a L'Oreal liquid lipstick in a dark mauve color. A bit of an unuasual combination, but I like it!

Look #4: Neutral eyes and pink lips

By the time I created this look, I got tanned a lot so I decided to keep the bronze look. On my eyes I used some neutral colors to let the bronze stand out. I went with a shimmery champagne color on the lid and a dark brown in the crease, blended out with a light brown. The face is bronzed, and on my lips I used the Melted lipstick by Too Faced in the color Peony.
